Hearing & Vision Screening

Are school hearing and vision screening required for students?

Arizona law mandates hearing screening and recommends vision screening for students from pre-school through high school. Hearing screeners must have a current T3 Training Certificate. ESNS follows the Hearing and Vision Referral Guidelines of the Arizona Department of Health Services. ESNS is able to help schools provide these screenings at a reduced cost to the school by using volunteer parents as screeners.
