Melinda Carter

Has lived in Tucson since 1971. She obtained her Registered Nurse licensing in 1995. She is the mother of three, ages 21, 13, and 7. She has chosen to educate her children in various venues including public, private Christian, charter and home school education. One of her children showed deficits very early in his academic years (half way through first grade). ESNS was chosen as an appropriate intervention by the trained professionals associated with her child’s learning institution and herself. Completion of the educational therapy, Discovery Learning Dynamics, resulted in not only subjective progress but measurable objective data as well. My encouragement to parents of children with difficulties is to never doubt what your head and heart are telling you about what your child needs. I believe that God has given us the children that we have and therefore He will give us a plan to raise them successfully. This will take place both academically and where they will fulfill their place in this world. "If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him." James 1:5
